In ten chapters, the novelty follows a group of friends, who see their plans frustrated by life changes
Endseries based on the book of the same name by the actress and writer Fernanda Torres, premieres on Globoplay starting this Wednesday, October 25th. With ten episodes, the new feature will be shown for five weeks, with two chapters released on Wednesdays.
The story, which takes place between 1968 and 2012, has as its starting point the death of Ciro (Fabio Assunção, Where Is My Heart), the most admired of the group, but who meets his end alone in a hospital bed. In his youth he fell in love and married Ruth (Marjorie Estiano, Under pressure), who was enchanted by his way of winning over everyone around him.
In this same context, we follow the ups and downs of a generation that grew up influenced by Bossa Nova, made several plans for a perfect family, but ended up being run over by life’s changes, the revolution in customs and future freedoms.
The cast of End still has Emilio Dantas (Go in Faith), Bruno Mazzeo (Professor Raimundo’s School), Laila Garin (Private Desert), Thelmo Fernandes (Every Day the Same Night), Deborah Falabella (Then I’m the Crazy One), David Junior (Good success) It is Heloisa Jorge (How To Be a Carioca).
Fernanda Torresin addition to being the author of the book that inspired the production, is also responsible for the scripts for the series, which includes supervision of the adaptation of Maria Camargo (Route 66 – The Police that Kill), artistic direction of Andrucha Waddington (Chacrinha – The Old Warrior, Under pressure) and direction of Daniela Thomas (The banquet, Pass Line).
