Netflix: new films released online (week from 30 October to 6 November)
It’s already time to say goodbye to the month of October (and to prepare for Halloween night with its dose of horror films) and to welcome the month of November with its share of expected new features on Netflix. The big film of this first week of November is obviously the blockbuster by (and with) Mélanie Laurent, Thieveswhich will be available on the platform this Wednesday 1 November.
This action comedy is adapted from the comic The Great Odalisque and features two exceptional thieves and best friends: Alex and Carole, who are preparing to hang up their lives to finally live freely. But first they embark on their final adventure, in the company of a newcomer, Sam, to steal a famous painting. Alongside Mélanie Laurent who plays Carole, we find Adèle Exarchopoulos in the role of Alex, Manon Bresch in the role of Sam and Isabelle Adjani in the role of the Godmother.
November 3rd is the movie Unsinkable, adapted from a true story, which will be available on Netflix. Worn by Jodie Foster and Annette Benning, it traces the feat of the American swimmer Diana Nyad, who, at 64 years old, helped by her best friend and her supporters, managed to swim 161 km between Cuba and Florida, through waters infested with sharks. An inspiring and heroic journey.
