Venom 3: good news for the film with Tom Hardy

The production of Poison 3 resumes

The adventure could have ended in the first film Poison, released in 2018 and praised by American and international critics. But many spectators went to the cinema to discover the story of Spider-Man’s enemy, played by a convincing Tom Hardy in the role of the journalist Eddie Brockowned by the alien symbiote Venom. With beyond $856 million in worldwide box office revenue for a budget estimated around 110 million, the studios have logically produced its sequel in 2021, Venom: Let there be carnage.

For this second film the trend was then reversed, with better critical reception and a lesser, but still profitable, performance at the box office with 506 million dollars in overall revenue. In the first, Eddie and Venom were transported to the MCU, where they then saw Spider-Man on television. And in the second (under), which also begins in the same place, Eddie Brock is recalled to his universe, but leaves a “piece” of the symbiote in the MCU.
