In Chicago, Mr. Beef was used as the basis for creating Original Beef
Even with fictional characters, situations and restaurants, the series The bear, one of the best in recent years, has a lot of inspiration from real life. For example, the establishment that inspired the production became a success – and today sells approximately 800 sandwiches a day.
The restaurant in question is Mr Beefwhich inspired the Original Beef in the series (and which later changes its name to The bear). Responsible for the company in reality, Christopher Zucchero is a childhood friend of Christopher Storercreator of the series starring Jeremy Allen White (Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto) It is Ayo Edebiri (Sydney Adamu).
During an interview with CBS, Zucchero revealed how he did not believe in the success of The bear originally, but it burned his tongue. “I condescendingly told him, ‘Oh, I bet it’ll be a big hit.’ I said that,” he recalled. Before, Mr Beef sold around 300 sandwiches, and that number has risen to 800 today.
