New feature brings participants from all over the world to compete in the deadly games presented in Round 6
Round 6: The Challengereality show inspired by the hit Korean series Round 6, is available on Netflix from this Wednesday, November 22nd. Just like in the original production, 456 participants, from different parts of the world, are tested in tests that imitate children’s games.
The idea is to try to win the challenge and win the prize of US$4.56 million (R$22.28 million at current prices), defined by the program itself as “the biggest prize in the history of reality shows”. Watch the trailer:
In Round 6, 456 people in emergency situations, who urgently need money, receive a mysterious invitation to join a mysterious game. Those who respond to the invitation are locked in a secret location, where they play children’s games to earn 45.6 billion won (the series’ currency). However, the consequence of losing is no child’s play and results in the death of the participants.
The first season of the Korean series premiered on September 17, 2021 and soon became a hit worldwide, warranting a second season on Netflix. The new episodes, however, still do not have a date to premiere on the streaming platform.
