Canal+ reveals its December program: it’s heavy
After a month of November already full of news, Canal+ is busy in this last month of 2023. Many recent films will appear on the platform, to the delight of cinema-loving subscribers.
And we start on December 5th with the arrival of the psychological thriller Love and forests by Valérie Donzelli, with Virginie Efira and Melvil Poupaud. In this film adapted from the novel of the same name by Eric Reinhardt published in 2014, we talk aboutmental influence : that of Grégoire, an extreme manipulator, about his wife Blanche, who is gradually sinking. A film to urgently catch up on if you haven’t seen it at the cinema.
December 8th is the blockbuster Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which will be available on Canal+. This new film in the saga is set in the 90s in New York and follows a new faction of Transformersthe Maximals, who join the Autobots, to fight the Decepticons.
We can then discover the live action The little Mermaid, adapted from the cult Disney cartoon, on December 9th. In this new adaptation, Ariel is played by Halle Bailey and Ursula by Melissa McCarthy. If the plot of the story is the same as the original cartoon, Rob Marshall, the director, has nevertheless made some changes to create a more modern version.
As for recent successes, we will also discover them on Canal+ in December Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Fast & FuriousOR Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3.
