New Netflix films released online (week of December 25th to 31st)
To close the year 2023 and the last week from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve, Netflix invented a very generous program with his new films released online. In particular two feature films that are nothing new but worth the detour.
First of all, Monster Hunter with Milla Jovovich, which will be available on the platform on December 28th. An adaptation of the Capcom video game series directed by Paul WS Anderson, starring the actress of Fifth element in the main role. The director, specialist in this exercise, to whom we owe the first Mortal combat and several films Resident Evil, here he places his actress and partner in the city alongside Tony Jaa to fight terrifying creatures.
Another famous film, this one legendaryto appear in the Netflix catalog on December 31st : The wages of fear. A cult French thriller by Henri-Georges Clouzot from 1953, notably starring Yves Montand, which tells of a dangerous adventure in which four truck drivers must ensure carry a very dangerous load…
The film had already received a splendid remake by William Friedkin in 1977, The convoy of fearAND a new makeover, French, arrives on Netflix in 2024. This new film is directed by Julien Leclercq and includes Alban Lenoir and Franck Gastambide in the cast. Making the 1953 film available is therefore the best way to prepare the ground.
As for new films, we will be particularly interested The Forsakena suspenseful and dark Taiwanese crime thriller, also available on December 31st.

On the series side of the Netflix catalogue, the program is much lighter for this last week of 2023, with above all one event: the return of an iconic character from the successful series The Paper House THE December 29th. In fact, “Berlin“(Pedro Alonso) returns in the spin-off dedicated to him. The series Berlinfilmed partly in Paris, it is highly anticipated given the popularity of his character, charismatic leader of the thieves The Paper House.
