Meredith Gray returns in first preview of Grey’s Anatomy season 20

Apparently, Meredith Gray couldn’t stay away from Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital for long and is back in the 20th season of Grey’s Anatomywhich received a preview with the return of Ellen Pompeo to the role of the doctor.

The actress had already announced her character’s return in June this year, in an interview with Variety. “I’ll be making some appearances hopefully next year if I can find some time.”he declared. “No, it’s not a complete goodbye. Pompeo left Grey’s Anatomy at the beginning of the 19th season. In the series, the character accepts a job in Boston to work on an important new medical project, and ends up leaving Seattle behind. Despite the farewell, the actress continues to narrate the episodes, in addition to acting as executive producer of the series.
