“I always try to respect the source material, but Gerard Way and I got to a good place where he kind of accepts how the TV show and the comic aren’t the same anymore,” he said. “Actually, we’re kind of symbiotic where there are things in the TV show that influence the comics. and vice versa.”
“Clearly what he does in the comics influences the plot of the show… [Way] goes to places in Hotel Oblivion that we probably won’t,” finished Blackman.
