Canal+: new films expected in February
After a month full of cinematic news in January, Canal+ continues its momentum in February, marking the arrival of a major box office hit in 2023 and a French film that we never stop talking about.
Barbie by Greta Gerwig will be available on Canal+ from February 16th. It is the biggest global box office hit of 2023 Super Mario Bros. the film. Brought to you by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, the film tells the adventures of the famous blonde dollwho lives happy days in the magical world of Barbieland.
However, the story takes an unexpected turn when Barbie is thrown from this too-perfect world and lands in reality, an imperfect world. and much more complex.
In this reality, Barbie faces many challenges that confront her with questions about identity, values, and the true meaning of happiness. Accompanied by Ken, who also discovers him another reality Far away from the world she knows, Barbie embarks on an adventure that leads her to redefine her own conception of perfection and social standards.

Another highly anticipated news on Canal+ in February (the date is still unknown, but it could be broadcast on the occasion of the Césars): Anatomy of a fall by Justine Triet, Palme d’Or at Cannes, great favorite of the Césars and nominated five times for the Oscars (including best film).
Directed by Sandra Hüller, the film tells the story of the trial of a mother suspected of having killed her husband. With this expedient Justine Triet analyzes the mechanisms of a couple’s relationship.
Among the other films expected in February on Canal+ we can also mention Gran Turismo OR Insidious: The Red Door.

Canal+: new series expected in February
As for the series, subscribers will not be outdone either with the arrival of two new programs eagerly awaited by television series fans.
Feud: Capote vs. The Swans by Ryan Murphy is the second season of his anthology Feud, which traces famous rivalries. While the first season dealt with the rivalry between Bette David and Joan Crawford, this second season focuses on the story of the betrayal of the famous writer Truman Capote towards some of his friends from New York high society nicknamed his “swans”.
Indeed, in an excerpt from one of his books published by Esquire magazine, the novelist revealed the shameful secrets of these powerful women. Banned from high society, then closed in a spiral of self-destruction. In casting, Ryan Murphy has once again pulled big names out of the hat around Tom Hollander who plays Truman Capote. We will thus find Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Demi Moore and Calista Flockhart.
This series will be available February 1, US time.
Another highly anticipated series on Canal+ in February: Full circle, directed by Steven Soderbergh. The series released on HBO Max last summer is described as “a gripping, dizzying thriller about a kidnapping that doesn’t go as planned and stirs up old rivalries.” As for the casting we find Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Dennis Quaid and Timothy Olyphant.
On the French side, we will discover the series Bachelor party, created notably by Panayotis Pascot and Fary. Divided into four episodes, it retraces the eventful night of five friends after a traumatic event. It will be available in full from February 14th.
