In this year of Our Lord 2022, we should all know that reality shows don’t really represent reality consistently. Editing can go a long way in making viewers think or feel a certain way, and that’s before they even start talking about re-shooting, inventing situations, and other tactics that TV producers can use. The Kardashians certainly had Hulu subscribers on red alert in her first season to point out some editing inconsistencies, and with season 2 on the way, Khloé Kardashian explained those fake phone calls and other mistakes.
Members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have been accused of passing off false reports attributable to people claiming Kris Jenner is the one who released Kim Kardashian’s sex tape . (More recently, Khloé Kardashian was arrested Turn your daughter into a photo with his cousin.) In the first season of The Kardashiansthe family was accused of making screen calls months after they happened, as well as holding a fake family meeting on The Tristan Thompson paternity scandal . With Khloé appearing as a guest in the last episode of spicy He admitted that he also noticed problems while watching and shared a possible reason why some of these problems occur, saying:
I can tell when an audio part has been played if they need to re-record the audio or if a phone call is wrong. And it’s not like those things didn’t happen, but sometimes they weren’t picking up the audio or sometimes the microphones were off. So I understand that a lot of things could really be like that, but they might just have to redo something or move on.
So Khloé Kardashian says the problem, at least in some cases, is more of a technical solution than editors trying to mislead the public. So I guess it also includes a scene that caught fans this season, when Kris Jenner named her kids. Travis Barker’s upcoming marriage proposal to Kourtney Kardashian ? The proposal came in October 2021, but Kris Jenner’s phone footage of the episode “Live From New York” showed the famous mom confirming plans with contacts like “Kylie New Year 2022” and “Kimbo 2022”.
Another seemingly made-up scene occurred in the finale, “Enough is Enough,” when Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble met for a nearby family reunion. The consequences of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s breakup , which happened in early December. However, the fans stopped photo of the paparazzi of Kourtney in the same outfit, including hair and nail polish, to show that the family reunion was actually filmed on January 31, 2022.
The umpteenth accusation was that The Kardashians avoided mentioning The tragedy of the astromondo by Travis Scott – in which 10 people died – strongly suggesting that Kendall Jenner was in Miami with Hailey Bieber at her mom’s birthday party, when she was known to be in Houston with her sister Kylie at the festival. Khloé Kardashian’s explanation doesn’t completely cover that discrepancy, and even if no one wanted to The Kardashians Exploiting the victims of the tragedy was a strange thing to fabricate, as Kylie’s absence from her mother’s party was not addressed at all.
The whole edition does not go as the famous family would like. Kourtney Kardashian accused editors of ignoring her “fairytale romance” with Travis Barker to instead focus on the old story of his drama with little dad Scott Disick while remaining friends with the other family members.
Whatever happens in post-production, you can rest assured that fans are doing their best to keep the famous family honest. They will have the opportunity to do it a little more when The Kardashians returns to Hulu for season 2. We don’t have a premiere date, but executive producer Danielle King said Term “We won’t have to wait another year,” and filming for the second season was due to wrap up at the end of June.
Until then, you can go back and try to find all the Season 1 tweak bugs via streaming. The Kardashians on Hulu and be sure to check ours TV program 2022 to see which versions will arrive soon.
