This long weekend, Neuquén welcomed more than a million people for its now classic Confluence National Festival. Artists such as Abel Pintos, Airbag, Ratones Paranoicos, El Mató a un Police Motorizado, La Delio Valdez, Callejero Fino, BM, Conozando Russia, Nafta, Dillom and Piti Fernández, among others, have performed on its huge stage.
The closing day on Tuesday was the most unifying, the presence of Fito Páez, who has just celebrated three decades of the famous album “Love After Love”, brought together thousands of people on the last day of the party. Earlier, Piti Fernández and Fabiana Cantilo performed, while the closing was in charge of the Ratones Paranoicos.
The property located on Island 132, on the banks of the Limay River, also had 80 gourmet stands and 100 more with entrepreneurs offering their wares to the crowds of fans at the event.
Like every year, the Municipality of Neuquén guaranteed preferential space for people with disabilities who attended the party. They also continued to implement a safety method for the little ones. All minors had their security tape with the telephone number of the responsible adult. In the event that they get separated and lost, the organization could easily locate the other party to reunite them.
The municipality also offered free passenger transport service to those who wished to attend the festival. Services departed from Central Park and priority was given to people with reduced mobility.
In this way, the long weekend was a true national celebration, with music for the whole family and experiences for the million participants who came to Confluencia this year.
