Finally a date for the Harry Potter series, we’ll have to wait

Harry Potter will return to the small screen

Eight films were needed to adapt the seven novels Harry Potter written by JK Rowling. Blockbusters released between 2001 and 2011, which allowed the universe imagined by the English to be popularized on an even larger scale. The public had then followed, and seen Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson grow in all these years in the roles ofHarry, Ron and Hermione.

But soon other faces will be associated with these cult characters. In April 2023, Warner Bros. made it official the development of a series Harry Potter. However, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner, took advantage of the update on the company’s financial results to discuss the release date of the series. His comments were conveyed by Variety and we learn that the show Harry Potter would aim at diffusion for 2026 on the Max streaming service (formerly HBO Max). So in at least two years. Maybe more if the program arrives at the end of the year.

This might seem long. But let’s hope the wait is worth it.
