After the two-part adaptation of Three MusketeersPathé and Chapter 2 continue their exploration of the work of Alexandre Dumas with the film adaptation of the famous novel The Count of Monte Cristo directed by Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte.

These first images therefore allow us to discover Pierre Niney in the role of Edmond Dantès, an unfairly promising young sailor. accused of treason and imprisoned in the sinister fortress of If. A promising cast
