Despite being very proud of her work on Harry Potter, Miriam Margolyes doesn’t understand adults who still love the franchise
Teacher’s interpreter Sprout in the films of Harry Potter, Miriam Margolyes doesn’t have many positive comments about the story created by J.K. Rowling. In fact, the actress asked adult fans to forget the franchise “if your balls drop.”
It’s worth remembering how the artist, in previous interviews, ignored the franchise’s legacy and explained how it “means nothing to me.” Now, during conversation with NewsBreakfast, Margolyes again made strong criticisms.
“I’m not unhappy about it. I just think it’s for kids. And if your balls fell off, then it’s time to forget about it. You know, move on to other things,” the 82-year-old entertainer said. “No, really! It’s a great series, it’s a wonderful set of films. I’m proud to have been in it, but it was 25 years ago. You know, grow up!”
