A first trailer for Alien: Romulus
Among the films we are most anxiously awaiting this year is obviously Alien: Romulus, new work in the famous horror saga. If Ridley Scott had directed the last two films Prometheus (2012) e Alien: Covenant (2017), it’s this time Fede Alvarez who was entrusted with the difficult task of relaunching the franchise. The simple presence of this director was enough to make the project attractive, since we owe it to him in particular evil Dead (2013) e Don’t Breathe: The House of Darkness (2016). Added to this are the compliments sent by Ridley Scott himself. So there is hope. But we will have to wait for the final result before declaring victory.
Until then, we can start to get an idea of what’s in store for us. Alien: Romulus thanks to the first images finally revealed (video on the front page of the article). The trailer promises well with a truly disturbing atmosphere. We understand that a small team will have to survive in a ship full of facehuggers. This promises real carnage!
On the casting of the film
We already knew the plot of this next one Alien will take place between the events of the first two films. OR between 2122 and 2179, as Ripley wanders through space. It is therefore a parallel story that awaits us with new characters. The main heroine is played by a kind of new Ripley Cailee Spaenywho continues to convince after his superb performance in Priscilla and in the excellent Civil war (in theaters from April 17).

Alongside the actress, other young performers gathered including David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Spike Fearn, Aileen Wu and the most well-known, Isabela Mercede (sweet girl, Dora and the Lost City). The latter also has a series of interesting projects since after Alien: Romulus we will see it in season 2 of The last of us and in the next Superman. But first, the big question is whether Isabela Merced will make it facing the famous xenomorph. Especially since she the actress recently announced that she filmed a truly disgusting scene.
