François Civil impresses No waves
For this week of March 27, we can expect to see families flocking to theaters to find out Kung Fu Panda 4. The previous film had accumulated more than 2.5 million admissions in 2016. We will therefore not be surprised to see a great result again for this new adventure of Po. However, it is rather on the side of drama that we advise you to go this week.
First with No wavesshock film with François Civil in the role of a French teacher in a boarding school on the outskirts of Paris. While he tries to build a bond with his students, a student in his class accuses him of harassment. Adapted from a true story, that of director Teddy Lussi-Modeste, No Waves then shows the lack of support from national education. The result is a powerful film that touched François Civil a lot, as he told us in an interview.

Still on the French side, there will be things to see this week in theaters The green promise. Inside, Alessandra Lamy tries to save his son, unjustly sentenced to death in Indonesia, and played by Félix Moati. Her mother then launches into a fight against the powerful industrial lobbies responsible for this situation. While The green promise it is not based directly on a true story, the director wanted to realistically recreate the conditions of detention in Indonesia, which makes the film so tense. Because upon returning from the campaign, the king seems more and more suspicious towards his wife… Directed by Karim Aïnouz, The Queen’s Game is an excellent proposal, with Alicia Vikander and Jude Law impressive.
