Anaconda: a spectacular trailer for the Chinese remake

A new Anaconda coming from China

Published in 1997, Anaconda is one of those horror feature films that over time has acquired the status of a cult film. Worn most notably by Jon Voight and Jennifer Lopez, it follows an anthropologist and his team forced by a hunter to track down a fearsome reptile in the middle of the Amazon jungle.

Directed by Luis Llosa, the film has already had three sequels and a crossover spin-off with the franchise placid lake. And the universe ofAnaconda expands further with a remake from China. Directed this time by Xiang Qiu Liang and Xiang He Sheng, it has the same title as the original. And, according to the first images revealed, this new work is particularly impressive.

Another version in preparation on the American side?

In addition to the Chinese reboot, a new film set in the universe ofAnaconda he could see the light of day. Last January, Jeff Sneider assured during the podcast The hot mic That Tom Gormican wrote the screenplay of a new feature film. This time it would be a meta-approach of franchising.

His plot would then focus on one or more actors playing versions of themselvesand who go to the Amazon to shoot a film Anaconda before things get out of hand. However, we still don’t know if this project will be realized.
