Launched on Canal+ in 2020, Valid was a great success among channel subscribers. The first season of the series focused on a young rapper brought to the forefront after being voiced by a rap star, before the relationship between the two men transformed a dangerous rivalry.

The first season of Valid has it garnered 35 million views ON MyCanal. From this cartoon was born the sequel to the series developed by Franck Gastambide, Charles Van Tieghem, Xavier Lacaille, Giulio Callegari and Nicolas Laquerrière. Released in 2021, the second season also did very well. He reached the 10 million views in a few days. Since then, fans have been asking for a third season. And if they had to wait several years to hear the news, this has finally been announced.

To formalize the launch of a third season of Valid, Canal+ opted for an original video. We see Franck Gastambide questioned several times about the continuation of the series in scenes of everyday life. However, he repeats numerous times that this sequel is not planned. But he ends up being threatened by some characters from his series. Then he gives in and announces it the third season will take place.

Among the characters who threaten Franck Gastambide for the right to a third season are William, Brahim and Mounir. Logically, these characters it should therefore have returned in the new episodes of Valid. However, we still don’t know which other actors will reprise their roles. Nor which new faces will join the series.
