El Purre presents “Our Truman Show”, their first album. And he announces a show at the Niceto Club, for May 31, in which he will perform the songs from the album.
What is “Our Truman Show” about? “This is the representation of the world I live in. Today it seems that we communicate almost exclusively through social networks. One sells, the other buys, the other shows, the other hides. We let’s all watch. This game between who I am and who they think I am,” said the artist himself.
“Change the World,” “Don’t Look at Me Like That” and “When You’re Away” were the first three previews of “Our Truman Show,” which features nine songswas produced by Mateo Rodo and recorded at Estudio del show, Chile.
“It’s an honest album, or at least that’s what I tried to do, I’m not one thing or the other, maybe it’s both things together. One is the collection of their struggles, here I show my successes and my defeats. parallelism between what happens inside and outside, what is left and seen and what is hidden”, added El Purre.
