Black hearts : Filming of the sequel begins
In February 2023, Prime Video was launched Black heartsa new French series focusing on Special forces. Set in 2016, the show sees soldiers arriving in Iraq shortly before the battle of Mosul. Their mission is therefore to find the daughter and grandson of a French emir in the midst of the surrounding chaos and exfiltrate them. Directed by Ziad Doueiri, the series has been a great success on the streaming platform. The realism proposed by Duong Dang-Thai and Corinne Garfin (who collaborated in writing the episodes of Office of Legends) was particularly highlighted, as was the quality of the casting.

Indeed, we found it there Nicolas Duvauchelle, Nina Meurisse, Marie Dompnier and Tewfik Jallab among the members of the French special forces commando facing Daesh. To be credible in their roles, the latter had undergone training at the 13th Parachute Dragoon Regiment. A training that will have been useful ever since Black hearts was renewed for a season 2. And more than a year after the first episodes aired, Prime Video finally provides news.
Season 2 in 2025 on Prime Video
The streaming platform announced this via a press release filming of the next episodes From Black hearts it would start soon. From April 15th, in Morocco to be precise. A recovery that will allow us to offer 6 new 45 minute episodes. This time it is Frédéric Jardin (Braquo, Engrenages, Totems) who creates them. And obviously there will be no shortage of new faces, such as Patrick Mille, Louis Séguier, Hugo Palomba and Radouan Leflahi.
