Perhaps almost everyone who loses weight believes that giving up white bread is an important point that will help them lose weight faster. Over time, white bread has acquired many scary legends about how it affects metabolism, the appearance of cellulite, and even puffiness.

Ideally, it is considered correct to exclude any bread from the diet. Well, or replace white bread with black bread – which is supposed to be much more nutritious in terms of nutrition.

Of course, when it comes to quality bakery bread – made with whole grain flour and sourdough – that judgment makes sense. But you shouldn’t be looking for the benefits of plain dark store-bought bread. As a rule, its composition almost does not differ from white rolls – and similarly it contains premium flour, sugar, molasses and yeast in the first positions.

It turns out that any kind of bread with longer storage does not give the body anything useful. And if there is no alternative, choose one. And if you have been diagnosed with diabetes or gastrointestinal diseases, it is better to opt for white bread. In commercial brown bread, although in small quantities, rye flour is always present. It causes an increase in acidity in the gastrointestinal tract and can cause an exacerbation of the disease.
