How does Rebel Moon part 2 end? (SPOILERS)
While the confrontation with the armies of Mother World and Veldt rages, and the losses are numerous on both sides (including the heartbreaking death of Nemesis), Kora decides to infiltrate Atticus’ ship, aided by Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), with the which started a love story. She manages as best she can to destroy it by disposing of explosives, and once again faces Atticus in a sword fight (still reminiscent of the Star Wars saga).
He manages to kill him a second time, but Atticus mortally wounds Gunnar. Kora manages to get him aboard his capsule and the two rebels return to the village. It is in Kora’s arms that Gunnar takes his last breathas the last ships of the Mother World are brought down by the surprise arrival of Devra Bloodaxe (Cleopatra Coleman) and her army.
The last minutes of Rebel Moon 2 reveal a twist, which heralds a third film: Kora learns from Titus that Princess Issa is still alive, even though he thought he had killed her, by order of Balisarius (we discover this sequence in a flashback), who himself ordered the ‘murder. of the royal family.
The film ends with a promise: Kora and the rebels will search for Princess Issa and fight the Empire.
