Each is a reference for a generation. And together, they do nothing but take the music elsewhere. Nicky Jam and Trueno, It’s about them, presents “Cangrinaje”.
Yes, the Puerto Rican and the Argentinian came together in a song that pays homage to old school reggaeton. And that’s no way to say it, eh.
The sound of “Cangrinaje” is raw and invites intense twerking, something that marked Nicky’s debut in the industry. But the freshness of Trueno’s verses offer a new style with which those of the old generation and the new will feel a strong fraternity.
The single was produced by Jorge Alberto Erazo and is accompanied by a video recorded in Miami, produced by Andrea Rodríguez and directed by Simon Brand, Sergio de Ávla and Jerome Lehouco.
With black and white images, the clip manages to take the listener into a setting captured by the urban essence.
