Granma is in first grade. And it is neither more nor less than his album: “Chinese Shadows”who takes to the streets accompanied by the video clip of “La Voz del Agua”, the first extract from the show.
“Sombras chinas” was recorded at ZJ studio, mixed by Juan Zabalza and the band’s singer Manuel Badano, who was also the album’s producer, was in the programming and did the keyboards and samples. The album was mastered at Limonhero studio by Marcelo Mascetti.
“‘Sombras Chinas’ arrives to invite the listener to enjoy, play, fly with your imagination and feel the music to the rhythm of your heart“, say Manuel Badano (guitar and vocals), Tomás Cepeda (guitar), Francisco Saavedra (drums) and Leo Chiurco (bass), the members of the group.
A group born in Lujánmore precisely in the attic of Manuel Badano’s grandmother’s house, and which began with accents of indie pop and post punk.
However, over time, they experienced a musical evolution that led them towards more rock sounds, the style by which they are most defined today.
With talent as their standard, these four friends draw melodies with sampling, sound design and synthesis, without leaving aside poetry and the search for a timbral and harmonic complexity that enhances their songs and differentiates them from other similar styles.
