Pointed out as the inspiration for the stalkerMartha in Baby Reindeer (Baby Reindeer), Netflix’s new hit series, Fiona Harvey assumed that, in fact, it is the woman who persecuted Richard Gaddcreator, screenwriter, producer and protagonist of the novelty.
In an interview with Daily Recordthe Scottish lawyer also denied some information presented in the series, such as the accusation that she had been arrested for having chased someone else before the comedian:
“You have my authority to identify me in Daily Record. I give my permission to identify myself, because people need to know what’s going on.”declared Harvey. “I’ve never been to prison. I don’t know where these four and a half and nine months came from. [de pena] they left. None of that happened. It’s a bunch of nonsense.”
“Gadd I need to prove that I was arrested, which simply didn’t happen. I was never sent to prison. This is blatantly obvious”continued. “This is all fabrication and hyperbole. There are no restraining orders, injunctions or interdictions anywhere. There’s simply no way. I didn’t get the police at my door for any of those things. It’s a load of rubbish.”
According to internet users, who discovered the identity of the real Marthathere is plenty of evidence on social media that Fiona Harvey would be the stalker. Like the character, the woman defines herself, in her profiles, as a Scottish lawyer. Furthermore, fans of the series noticed that some of her publications are very similar to the text in the series.
