The Count of Monte Cristo: the event film of the summer?

Once free, Dantès recovers the treasure and transforms into the Count of Monte Cristo, a mysterious and rich nobleman. He returns to Paris with an elaborate plan take revenge on the people responsible for his incarceration : Fernand Mondego, who desired Mercédès; Danglars, who envied his professional success; Villefort, who tried to hide a personal secret; and Caderousse, who did not defend Edmond.
According to the plot of the film, this on-screen revenge will focus only on the first three men.
Budget of 49 million euros and a presence at the Cannes Film Festival
