In fact, it is thanks to this role that he then landed that of Edward Cullen in the saga Dusk, which made him famous throughout the worldand, and then allowed him to build a solid career between independent films and blockbusters. For the record, it was while we were looking for the face of the person who could play Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga that the producer had the idea to look at photos of the actors who starred in the Harry Potter films. It was there that he came across a photo of Robert Pattinson and decided, together with director Catherine Hardwicke, to cast him.
