Yami Safdie says “Thank you” and shows his good “manners”…

Yami Safdie announces “Modales”, his new EP, with the release of “Thank you”one of the singles that make it up.

After a summer where she was seen in the most important festivals in Argentina (Cosquín Rock and Villa Maria), Chile (Lollapalooza) and Austin Texas (SXSW), the Argentine composer continues to experiment with her music.

And the best example is the premiere of “Modales”, an EP from five new songs based on the lyrics of good manners with ironic lyrics. A kind of game for telling stories of spite and sorrow.

The EP will mix the pop genre with reggaeton and cumbia, a fusion that Yami always wanted to experience in its entirety.

This is reflected in “Thank You”, the first cut, based on Yami’s personal story, where her ex-boyfriend’s current partner thinks Yami is mad at him. But ultimately, Yami thanks him for helping her get this man out of her life.

A song full of irony that helps you let off steam and have fun.

What is interesting about this new project is that it is accompanied by an audiovisual production filmed in a school taking up the ironic notion of good manners. Where Yami is seen with her classmates, played by Argentine celebrities and artists, in a classroom learning these good manners.
