Vision will in fact have the right to his own series
WandaVision it was the first series from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) to be released on Disney+. Presented in 2021, it occurred shortly after the events ofAvengers: Endgame. Devastated by Vision’s death, Wanda created an imaginary world there in the city of Westpoint where she could live the daily life of her dreams with him, even to the point of having twins. Created by Jac Schaeffer, the series was acclaimed upon its release. As evidenced by its score on Rotten tomatoes, which stands at 88% among the public and 92% among journalists. Building on this success, Marvel Studios launched development ofa spin-off about Agatha, which we will be able to discover this year. And, as expected, a series on Vision will also see the light.
A showrunner chosen and Paul Bettany is back!
It’s been a long time since a series focusing on the character of Vision was announced. AND Variety tells us today that all this will really come true. Marvel has finally found it the showrunner of this project. This is Terry Matalaswhich in particular he co-created 12 monkeys and worked on Star Trek: Picard. For his part, Paul Bettany will also return in the title role.
The show will resume after the events of WandaVision. In the last episode, a new android Vision came to Wanda’s aid before flying away. We will find him again in his new life, even if we don’t yet know what he will have to face. Second Expiration, it’s also possible that Wanda will make an appearance in the series. Although nothing has yet been confirmed about it, we could therefore see Elizabeth Olsen again in her best-known role.
Disney is aiming for release within two years
The series on Vision is scheduled for 2026 onDisney+. The studio has not yet revealed a more precise release date. In any case, before that, another character from WandaVision will be in the spotlight. As previously mentioned, the character of Agatha will also get her own spin-off. It will be titled Agata always. We will be able to discover the first episodes next September 18th.
