Nathy Peluso presents “Grasa”, her most revealing new album

Nathy Peluso is back with “the truth of the Milanese”. His long-awaited new album, “Grasa”available today, is undoubtedly his most revealing album, full of personal lights and shadows and with a solid evolution of his unrivaled performance skills in both hip hop, tropical music and ballads.

“This ambition is killing me,” are the first words the Spain-based Argentinian artist sings in “Corleone,” the album’s captivating opening song. This sentence sets the tone that gives “Grasa”, their first album in 4 yearsafter the Latin GRAMMY-winning hit “Calambre.”

And on this album, for the first time, Nathy shows a more intimate and personal side in his lyrics, unafraid to share with his audience the struggles and creative crises that come with fame, success and the pressures of modern stardom.

Nathy co-produced and co-wrote all 15 tracks on the album, most alongside Venezuelan musician and producer Manuel Lara (Kali Uchis, Bad Bunny), who also serves as executive producer alongside her.

“Grasa” draws its visual and stylistic inspiration from a variety of references: the cinematic grandeur of the mafia and New York salsa of the 70s and current icons like Kendrick Lamar, but firmly anchored in a contemporary sound.

The album serves as a soundtrack to Nathy’s current moment while pushing the boundaries and expectations of the industry. It is also the result of a deep inner journey.
