The duo Brad Pitt and George Clooney are back
We can’t make a casting much more prestigious than that of Wolveswhich reunites on screen 16 later It burns after reading two Hollywood superstars: Brad Pitt AND George Clooney. The two actors, who formed an unforgettable duo in the saga Of the oceanthey are in fact in front of Jon Watts’ camera for what appears to be, in this first teaser (video at the top of the article) a proposal between the thriller and the detective comedy.
We’ll know more on Wednesday May 29thdate in which we will be able to discover a larger trailer, but these few seconds of Wolfs already create the atmosphere: creaky. Indeed, in these images in which none of the actors say a word, we mainly hear the very irritating noise of the windshield wipers of the car they occupy. The closed and tense faces, Brad Pitt’s character opening the glove compartment, George Clooney’s character annoying…
The two actors thus fully interpret the basic idea of Wolvesnot very original but potentially formidable in effectiveness:
Two “fixers” find themselves engaged in the same mission.
A sequel already in development?
Wolves is expected in French cinemas September 18, 2024 under the Sony Pictures banner. It will then join Apple TV+. A release and distribution similar to that of Napoleonalso released first in theaters with Sony Pictures and then on Apple’s streaming platform.
The public will decide whether Wolves it’s a success, but George Clooney is already ready to do it again, as he declared in December Expiration :
There is already talk of a sequel to this film with Brad and Jon. It was a fantastic shoot and Jon is a very talented guy and a very happy person too. He loves what he does. (…) It’s a fantastic film that exceeds expectations and it was great to work with Brad again. We really enjoyed ourselves.
