Massacre releases “Nueve”, its brand new albumcomposed of nine songs, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, Héctor Castillo and Federico Piskorz, who each worked on three of them, recorded in three different studios.
“Nueve”, moreover, is the group’s ninth studio album, after their last opus 9 years ago.
The album travels through a psychological dream full of counterpointsreflections, dialogues between opposites, postponed conflicts, anxiety and existential insomnia after a crisis, universal feelings that inhabit us day after day.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, “Nueve” brings exploits. where Massacre joins established artists. Examples? For his new track, Santiago Motorizado, lead voice of El Mató a un Police Motorizado, joins forces with “Máquina del Tiempo”, a track with an indie and progressive pulse, achieving the perfect alchemy between minimalism and grandeur, navigating through sound currents that refer to the essence of the group.
Further away? Vicentico brings his voice, in a low voice, so that “Medusa Lunar” evokes tunes reminiscent of the Flaming Lips.
Gustavo Santaolalla, producer and guitarist, brought his talent to transform “Mariposa” into a psychedelic quota that has unconsciously accompanied Massacre since their first concert where they played with a Farfisa keyboard amp from the 60s.
And Goyo from Bandalos Chinos joins “Insomnio” to bring light with his clear voice.
After the release of “Nueve”, Massacre begins its European tour which will take them to cities like London, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Mallorca and Malaga, among others.
