The new feature will focus on the production company responsible for the dreams and nightmares of Riley, the protagonist of the films, and does not yet have a release date.
After the announcement that Inside Out will get a series for Disney+, Pete DocterPixar’s creative director, gave new details about the production and revealed that it should reach the streaming platform’s catalog in 2025.
What did Docter say?
Named after Dream Productions (Dream Production, in free translation), the novelty will focus on the producer responsible for the dreams and nightmares of Rileyprotagonist of the films Inside OutIt is Doctor revealed that the series will explore the behind-the-scenes of the girl’s dreams:
“In the first movie, do you remember how we watched Dream Making to understand how Riley’s dreams were made? That kind of explains why they’re so strange. [Na série,] We continue to explore this power of dreams, and how they affect us in waking life as well. So, it’s going to be really cool”he explained.
Still according to Doctor, Dream Productions is scheduled to debut in 2025, but there is still no set date for its release: “Coming out next spring [nos Estados Unidos, entre março e maio de 2025]. I’m not sure if there is a specific release date,” disengaged.
Before the series, Inside Out 2 hits theaters on June 20
In Inside Out, Riley Andersen, just 11 years old, is forced to change cities and, as a result, her life ends up becoming a mess.
