Coldplay have confirmed the release date for “Moon Music”, their new album

The production of this new album was done by Max Martin, known for his work with artists such as Britney Spears, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

In the official announcement, the band highlighted that in addition to the sustainable measures implemented during their current tour – which managed to reduce CO2e emissions by 59% compared to their previous stadium tour – they have also taken great measures to make the physical release of “Moon Music” as environmentally friendly as possible.

What will be special? ANDThe album will be the first to be released as a 140 gram EcoRecord LP.each made from nine recycled PET plastic bottles, collected from post-consumer waste.

This innovative initiative will avoid the manufacture of more than 25 tonnes of virgin plastic and enable an 85% reduction in CO2 emissions in the manufacturing process per kilogram compared to traditional 140 gram vinyl.
