Joel McHale, who played Jeff Winger in six seasons of Community, revealed how Donald Glover’s schedule has nothing to do with the film’s delays
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of the 2010s, Community There was a running joke that the franchise would have “six seasons and a movie.” The six seasons have been completed, but the feature film has yet to be released – and Joel McHaleinterpreter of Jeff Wingerexplained this delay.
In an interview with GQthe 52-year-old artist revealed how he himself is largely responsible for the delays in filming the movie Community. “It hasn’t been filmed yet. It will be. And I don’t have a definitive update because we thought for a moment it was all going to happen this year, and then it didn’t,” he explained.
“But we have the money, and that’s a huge step. And I hope people still want to see it,” he continued. McHale. “And the [serviço de streaming] Peacock is paying for it. And so I can’t wait to do it. I would say vaguely next year. How about that?”
The interviewer then joked how this delay is due to his busy schedule. Donald Gloverwho has a career in music in addition to acting. “No! If it’s anyone’s fault, it’s my schedule in this case. It’s not his at all. He was available. No, no, no, no,” the actor responded.
