Prime Video’s hit series was renewed for its 5th and final season in June, just days before the 4th season premiere
Antony Starrwhich interprets the Captain Homeland in The Boyssaid he believes the hit Prime Video series will end at the right time. In June, on the eve of the premiere of the 4th season, Eric Kripkecreator and showrunner of the production, announced that it had been renewed for its 5th and final season.
“I’m very conscious of the fact that we want to end on a positive note, in a powerful way. Not thatI hope we become that kind of series that went on a little too long, whose ending no one watched,” he said in an interview with IGN.
“On behalf of everyone who works on the show, I can say that we want to leave with our heads held high, rather than leaving because we feel like we’re no longer welcome. I think we chose the right time, but of course it’s going to be hard to leave.”added Starr.

Adapted from the comic book series of the same name created by Garth Ennis It is Darick Robertson, The Boys shows a reality in which the Earth is inhabited by superheroes. However, despite being inspirations for humanity, these protectors are not as good as expected and hide a sinister side, which Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) and his friends are dying to expose.
