Nelly Furtado has announced the release of “7”, her highly anticipated new studio album.which will be released on September 20.
This album is the culmination of four years of artistic rediscovery, because after years spent focusing her energy on motherhood, the singer felt the magnetic pull of returning to the studio.
“I started going out again and continued to hear my music played and remixed by DJs and at the same time, my oldest daughter was showing me how the online community, including a whole new audience of Gen Z fans, was discovering and embracing my music, 20 years later,” Nelly said.
