Post-Credits Scene Explained Deadpool and Wolverine
Deadpool and Wolverinewhile assuming its difference, is a Marvel film and is part of the MCU. As such, it has its own tradition post-credits scene. A practice in MCU films that is generally aimed at connecting the film to a future production, or teaser in a very probable sequel the appearance of this or that superhero, etc. This is the case Deadpool and Wolverine ? (SPOILERS)
A sequence of “truths”.
There is only one post-credits scene Deadpool and Wolverine and, perhaps disappointingly, it makes no announcement about a potential next film from the duo of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, nor does it involve another superhero from the Marvel Universe. Already very generous with cameos and capable of constantly breaking the 4th wall, it would have been redundant to offer a final cameo in this post-credits scene.
So this sequence doesn’t tell us anything about the future that Deadpool is preparing, but it returns to one of the events of the film. In fact, we see Deadpool return in the sequence in which he reveals to Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin), the villain of Deadpool and Wolverineall the horrors that Johnny Stormplayed by Chris Evans, allegedly said about him. As Deadpool repeats these insults, Johnny Storm denies having said them.
A series of creative and very violent insults, resulting in the execution of the “Fantastic Four” member, with Cassandra Nova who he tears off his skin with the power of thought and reduces his skeleton to dust…
Since the public has not seen Johnny Storm utter these words with their own eyes, they are inevitably led to think that this Deadpool bastard made it all up on his own. But in reality, the Human Torch said these insults correctlyword for word. This is what this post-credits scene shows, with Deadpool refusing to take the blame for the character’s terrible death and then finds images in which we see Johnny Storm, led with Deadpool and Wolverine to Cassandra Nova’s lair, violently insulting him.
So, before closing this new adventure, Deadpool wanted to make sure that we can call him by all the names and overwhelm him with all the evils, he is definitely not a liar!
