J Balvin is back with “Mixteip”, an EP of ten songs which merges the reggaeton, the sauce, the trap, the forest and the R&B in a daring proposal as personal.
The Colombian artist surprises this unexpected launch which not only reaffirms its place as one of the global referents of the urban genre, but also shows it in A more introspective and mature stage.
The piece of development, “Zun Zun”, brings him together with Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavarez in a sound and visual tribute to reggaeton of the 90s, with a video clip filmed as in 1993, full of retro aesthetics, golden chains and homemade party energy.
Among the themes that attract attention the most is the “mystery”, where Gilberto Santa Rosa joins to convert a reggaeton into sauce, and “Uuu”, where Balvin surprises during the manufacture of a duo with the British Stormzy in a drilling beat.
Also There is space for emotion With “PQBL”, a romantic theme where Balvin returns to play with his universe to the sound referring to “The Song”.
This launch comes after the historic participation of J Balvin in the show in part of the 2025 club World Cup and just before going through international festivals such as Low Beach Fest in Mexico and Sonic summer in Japan.
