Between affectionate statements and cries for help, the Duffer Brothers showed images of the improvised moments by the actors of Stranger Things

With the end of season 4 of Stranger Things (2016), Matt and Ross Dufferbrothers creators of the iconic series of Netflix, revealed some behind the scenes of the filming. You Duffer brothers showed on Twitter three moments that were not in the script.
Between declarations of love and cries for help, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Joseph Quinn, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink are among the cast members listed in the improv.
On the way to fight the Demogorgon, Joyce (Winona Ryder) asks that Hopper (David Harbor be careful in your mission, noting that she doesn’t want to hold a second funeral for him. At that moment, they share a tender kiss.

Another post indicated that the moment between Eddie (Joseph Quinn) says “I love you, man” to Dustin (played by Gaten Matarazzo) was also not planned. “’I love you, man’ was improvised by Joe,” revealed the writers.

the moment when Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) – while he is being beaten by Jason (Mason Dye)– implores “Erica, help” would also have been improvised by the actor himself.

This type of intervention is not uncommon on the set of Strangerthings according to Sadie Sink – who interprets Max – even with the younger cast members. In an interview with deadline, sink praised the writers’ approach to allowing actors to create and give suggestions like adults.
They really respected and valued our opinions and created a really fun environment. They never harmed us in any way and really just listened to us and collaborated with us.
