French cinema will be in the spotlight on Netflix this week of August 12, as three recent films will be added to the platform’s catalog. First of all The night of the 12th (12/08)this excellent thriller awarded with 7 Caesar in 2023. Then, the last two films of Maïwenn will be released online on August 16. They are family dramas. DNA and historical film Jeanne du Barry with Johnny Depp in the role of Louis XV. Finally, on the same day, Netflix will offer its subscribers The Unionan action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry, and here’s the synopsis: A simple New Jersey construction worker turns spy when his long-lost girlfriend recruits him for a secret mission.

New Series Releases for the Week of August 12th

As for the series, Netflix has planned to give way to one of its biggest titles: Emily in Paris. The series is back with season 4 which will be one of the few new releases this week. Animation fans can always check out Kengan Ashura OR Sakura of laughter and ruinwhile criminal case enthusiasts will have plenty to deal with American Assassin: Laci Peterson. However, it is the show hosted by Lily Collins that, unsurprisingly, is expected to attract the most viewers. Emily’s fans have been waiting for her return for almost 2 years. However, they will have to settle for just five episodes. August 15th. For Part 2 we will have to wait until September 12th.
