Despite teasing the quality of the future crossover, actress Quinta Brunson didn’t give many details about which production will appear in Abbott Elementary
One of the main comedy series of today, Abbott Elementary will feature a crossover with another series (which, as of yet, has not been revealed). This event, in fact, “will change TV as we know it,” according to Brunson Farminterpreter of Janine Teagues.
During panel at 2024 Comic-Con International Independent Film Festivalthe artist was mysterious about the crossover in question. “I’m not going to say with who, or with what, or where, or when, but it’s really exciting and I think it will change television as we know it,” she said.
Later, in an interview with Varietythe artist commented how she loved watching episodes of series from Disney Channel that had special appearances by characters from other productions on the channel, such as That’s So Raven, Zack & Cody: The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana.
“Those things are what rejuvenate viewers, and I think it’s always fun to find ways to rejuvenate our audience,” he commented. “What’s important with Abbott is that we protect the show. Since it’s a mockumentary, we need to protect what we’re doing, but find a way to still be able to do something cool like this. That makes me very, very happy. It’s like an ode to the medium.”
I simply live for these magical moments and I’m excited to be able to bring one of them to TV with Abbott.
