Superman finished shooting
The Man of Steel is getting a makeover. For his first film at the helm of DC Studios (which he took over alongside Peter Safran in October 2022), James Gunn has chosen a particularly ambitious project. Namely a new version of the story of what is probably the most famous superhero of all time: Superman.

When someone asked him if reshoots would be necessary, he said he didn’t know yet. But that explained it. this was rarely the case for his films. Because, as he revealed in another posthe likes to follow rules that allow him not to resort to reshoots :
1) I over-prepare. 2) I don’t start shooting until I have a finished script that my entire team is happy with. 3) I recruit actors and crew managers who I know can do their job. 4) I surround myself with people who challenge me and don’t just say “yes” all the time. 5) I ask myself every day: are there any small imperfections in the script or what we’re shooting that could become huge imperfections in the editing room? 6) I follow rules 1 and 2 again!

Thanks to these rules, James Gunn only needed itonly one day of shooting for his last two films combined! If he ends up having to make changes SupermanWe therefore imagine that these interventions will be implemented quickly.
The film is scheduled for release on schedule
This news is therefore excellent for the progress of the Superman. However, the feature film is far from finished. James Gunn and his teams still have to face editing, special effects, sound and music. But if the film needs no reshoots (or very little), its release date should not be postponed.
