Despite being one of the most acclaimed and popular drama series of recent years, game of Thrones was heavily criticized for the last two seasons, especially the eighth, which ended the narrative. Now, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) regretted the mistakes, but pointed out how there were good ideas amidst the confusion.
During an interview with GQ, Harington openly recalled the negative reaction to the 8th season of the series, based on the books by George R.R. Martin. In addition, he revealed how he was quite exhausted during filming, as was much of the cast.
“I think if there was any failure at the end of Thronesis that we were all so tired that we couldn’t have continued any longer,” he said. “And so I understand that some people thought it was rushed and I can agree with them. But I’m not sure there was any alternative.”

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think there were mistakes made, story-wise, maybe towards the end. I think there were some interesting choices that didn’t quite work out,” he concluded. Kit Harington in the conversation.
