The new series from the creators of Love, Death + Robots
In the past we have already seen connections between video games and cinema or series. Secret Level will try to do the same by proposing short and original stories set in the worlds of different video games. Composed of 15 episodesthe series will be “a gateway to a new adventure, revealing exciting worlds of beloved classic games and highly anticipated new titles” indicated First Video in a press release. In addition, the streaming service was revealed during the opening night of Gamescom (a convention dedicated to video games) a first trailer for Secret Level.

We owe this program to the creators of Love, Death + Robots (Netflix)which had left its mark with its aesthetics, its different approaches to animation, sometimes ultra-realistic. Once again, this next series for adults promises visually. Video game enthusiasts will certainly feel as if they were watching movies. It remains to be seen whether the proposed stories will live up to the visual beauty.
An epic trailer for Secret Level
For now, this trailer does not provide any details about the plot. However, we can already notice that several universes will be presented, ranging from science fiction to fantasysometimes depicting soldiers in imposing armor, sometimes dragons and other creatures.
Also in their press release, Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio promise “an unforgettable journey” AND “a unique event that brings together more games in one series than ever before“.
