Cameron Diaz reveals he was a ‘drug mule’ by accident; understand

The actress recalled that she carried a mysterious suitcase when she traveled to Morocco as a model – and may have been a ‘drug mule’ at the time

Cameron Diaz revealed what a “drug mule” might have been like during her early days as a model. The actress recalled the beginning of her career when she was modeling in Paris, France, in an interview with the podcast Second Life.

At the beginning of the conversation, diaz recalled his first job: “I couldn’t book a job to save my life,” he said. “I got a job, but I really think I was like a mule responsible for carrying drugs to Morocco – I swear to God.”

“It was before TSA [sigla em inglês para Administração para a Segurança dos Transportes] or something,” continued the star of The Panthers (2000) in the interview. “It was like the early 1990s. They gave me a locked suitcase with my ‘fantasies’ in it – in lots of quotes.”

Cameron Diaz then she told how she was asked to open the suitcase by employees who worked at the country’s airport, who would have asked if the suitcase belonged to her and if it could be opened.

All the calculations in my head came back, like ‘what the hell is in this suitcase? I’m this blue-eyed blonde girl in Morocco in the 1990s, I wore ripped jeans and platform boots with my hair down, and that’s really insecure.
