Brooke Shields’ Daughter Says Nepo Baby Label ‘Hurts’

“My mom says I can get you into a place, but I can’t keep you there,” she said, explaining that while her mother’s name may open doors, it alone isn’t enough to guarantee a career.

Having a famous mother only takes you so far.

“People referred to me by that term [nepobaby] a zillion times,” he reported Grier. “It doesn’t affect me, because they are people behind a screen commenting on my social networks, but it hurts my feelings.”

“Obviously wanting to model and having a modeling mom helps, but at the same time, if I get there and they hate the way I look, they’re not going to ask me to come back,” she continued.
