Stranger Things: Max’s Fate Would Be Much Darker in Season 4, According to Duffer Brothers

Matt and Ross Duffer wanted to leave Max’s fate as a loose end for season 5

In virtually every fourth season of Stranger Things, MaxInterpreted by Sadie Sinkwas chased by the villain vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). In “Chapter Nine: And Eleven’s Plan,” ninth episode of seasonthe character faces the antagonist and escapes with her life, but that fate would be even darker, according to Matt and Ross Duffercreators of the series Netflix.

In an interview published in YouTubethe brothers duffer reveal how, instead of leaving it open if Max would die or not, they planned to permanently kill off the character of Sadia Sink. However, the producers finally decided to leave fate as yet another loose end for Season 5, which is set to premiere in 2024.

“[A morte de Max] was discussed as a possibility. For a while it would,” they stated in the video. “But we ended up with that… we wanted to end with a little more question at the end of the season. It is not yet clear whether Max It’s going to be okay, we just don’t know. We wanted to leave it on the air for Season 5.”


Joseph Quinn rehearses to play ‘Master of Puppets’ in Stranger Things; Look

The producers of Stranger Things,Matt and Ross Duffer published a behind-the-scenes video of the series in which Joseph Quinn (Eddie) appears rehearsing “Master of Puppets” on guitar.

Quinn has been playing guitar since he was young and has practiced for months to play the classic song by Metallicahowever, the actor stated to the Radio Times who did not perform the solo parts and the team hired a professional guitarist for the cuts.

In the scene in question, Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) needs to distract the monsters of the Upside Down with his guitar, and on the side, we see Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) excited about the track. The guitar solo continues during the cut of other characters maintaining a frantic breakout rhythm during the scene.

The sky behind the characters turns red, perhaps a reference to the cover of the album of the same name. Master of Puppets (1986). Once the performance is over, the duo descends from the trailer and Dustin says, “Dude. The best. Metal. EVER.”

Metallica was dazzled by the scene and wrote on Instagram:

“We were all excited to see the final result, and when we saw it, we were totally blown away… it’s so well done, so much so that some people were able to guess the song just by seeing the hands of Joseph Quinn [Eddie em Stranger Things] on guitar” Metallica continued in their post. “How crazy is that?”
