New series

As for the series coming in September on Canal+, here’s the preview The Fortress (already available) directly from Norway. The series is set in 2037, in a world devastated by climate crises, wars and pandemics. To protect itself, Norway, one of the last havens of peace, decides to close its borders by building an immense wall, thus isolating its citizens from the rest of the world. The country becomes a prosperous enclave, able to feed its population with scarce resources, such as fresh tomatoes and fish.

However, this balance is quickly threatened when a new virus, a variant of the Black Death, begins to spread, contaminating both the population and food production. This danger jeopardises Norway’s safety and self-sufficiency, raising questions limits of isolation in a world in crisis.

Another new series that should excite subscribers: Paris has fallenthe adaptation of the film saga “The Fall of” with Gerard Butler, this time set in Paris and which will be available on Canal+ from September 23.

It tells the story of French protection agent Vincent Taleb and British MI6 agent Zara Taylor, who join forces to foil an attack on the Minister of Defense during a reception at the British Embassy in Paris. What begins as a simple protection mission takes a dramatic turn when the two agents discover that terrorist Jacob Pearce has a much bigger plan, targeting the highest levels of the state. Under increasing pressure and with Pearce still one step ahead of them, Vincent and Zara must do everything they can to prevent Paris from falling into the hands of this man bent on revenge.
